3D Holographic Nail Polish by Milani: Add Extra Sparkle and Luminosity to Your Look

Gwendolyn Taylor
With all the nail polish brands that are coming out with new seasonal and limited edition nail colors, it can be difficult to find a collection that truly stands out from the rest and for an inexpensive price. Milani has recently come out with a stellar addition to their nail products. Their 3D Holographic collection offers nail shades that are brilliantly shiny and glitzy and give off a rainbow effect in bright lighting or out under the sun.

The collection has 6 beautiful, luminous shades: Cyberspace (a glitzy light bright blue color), HD (a glitzy translucent with a hint of silver color), 3D (a glitzy true gold color), Digital (a glitzy rosy pink color), Hi-Res (a glitzy soft purple color), and Hi-Tech (a glitzy spring green color). I would have to say my favorite colors out of the bunch are: "Hi-Res", "Digital", and "Cyberspace". My least favorite would probably be "3D", just because the shade does not compliments my skin tone very well, but I'm sure will look good on fairer or darker skin tones. The one that I would say is the most different from the bunch is "Hi-Tech" just because its holographic effect is not as much as rainbow, but more of a yellow and orange tint.

The application of these polishes is superb. If you want a sheerer tint, go with one coat. If you want a bold look go with at least two coats. The end result is beautiful sparkle and shine and a smooth finish to the touch. The additional plus about Milani products are that they are considered to be "3 Free", meaning they are free of the three major toxic chemicals or ingredients: toluene, formaldehyde, and DBP (Dibutyl Phthalate). This positive feature is something that most nail polish brands out there do not offer.

Milani products are sold at drugstores such as CVS, mass merchandise stores such as Target and Kmart, department stores such as Sears, and online via Milani's on website. These usually retail for about $4.50-$4.99 a bottle. Some of these stores will frequently offer sales and promotions such as "Buy One Get One Free" or "Buy One Get One Half Off" deals. Although some may compare this to China Glaze's Kaleidoscope collection, the outcomes are very similar and with that said, Milani nail polishes sell for about two dollars cheaper than what China Glaze usually retails for.
