Most refrigerators have a drawer or door of some kind for keeping vegetables or fruit like tomatoes, pears, grapes, etc. These items are often very delicate items but the drawers are very hard like the rest of the shelves in the refrigerator. By lining this drawer with bubble wrap these delicate items will have a nice cushion to be placed on and the best part is if you forget about these items and they go bad then you can easily dispose of them by taking out the bubble wrap with the bad food inside. It's like a diaper for your refrigerator.
Naturally people often use bubble wrap when mailing a large package that has something fragile in it, but what about something that is mailed in a regular envelop or a manila envelope? Maybe you are sending a ticker to a concert or a rare trading card and want to keep it safe. Cut out a small piece of bubble wrap that is the same size as the envelope and slip it into the envelope to give the item some padding.
Bubble wrap can be used to insulate a dog house or a cage for your pet. If you don't own your own pet then check the nearest animal shelter to see if they use bubble wrap and donate the leftover bubble wrap to them.
When drinking a can of soda out of the refrigerator some people will use some kind of cozy that will make sure the soda stays cold even though it is sitting in room temperature. Money can be saved and leftover bubble wrap can be used by wrapping a piece of bubble wrap around the can and then keeping it attached using a rubber band. This will be just as effective as using a cozy to keep a drink cold.
