4 of the Best Diaper Rash Creams to Use on Your Little One's Bottom
Some Well Known, and Some Not so Well Known Will Get that Bottom Feeling Better
There are so many diaper rash creams on the market from your plain basic Vaseline to the much more expensive "doctor recommended" ointments. Few stand out as being ones that can be a parent's best friend when it comes to clearing up that diaper rash.
Boudreaux's Butt Paste Diaper Rash Ointment
Do not be fooled by the name. This is some really good stuff. Boudreaux's Butt Paste Diaper Rash Ointment works miracles on healing even the worst diaper rash. This has been even known to be successful and calming to raw, broken, and bleeding diaper rashes. This product contains 16% Zinc Oxide, which is used to heal the sore bottom of your little one. It is great for treating diaper rash, as well as preventing it for every occurring. It has a great fragrance, is very easy to put on, and even wipes off the bottom just as easily. Thought it comes in several different sizes (Tubes - 1 oz., 2 oz., 3 oz., and 4 oz.; a 16 oz. jar, foil packets, and an on the go 3 pack). The preference would be to get the jar, as you can see exactly how much you are getting out and control the amount that you apply.
A+D Zinc Oxide Diaper Rash Cream with Aloe
A+D has many different products available for diaper rash treatment. On the other hand, I prefer one. That would be the A+D Zinc Oxide Diaper Rash Cream with Aloe. This product is for the treatment of diaper rash. This cream spreads onto the baby's bottom with not a lot of effort, to make it easier and more comfortable to make your little girl or boy feel better quickly. One of the best things about this product is the pump applicator. It makes it very easy to use one hand to apply the treatment.
Mustela Bebe Vitamin Barrier Cream, 10% Zinc Oxide
The Mustela Bebe Vitamin Barrier Cream is made in France. Though I must say that it seems that the French know how to make a baby's bottom feel so much better. This is another one of the hidden secrets of diaper rash creams. It is hypoallergenic, contains zinc oxide, though not in the amounts that most creams have. Nevertheless, that just goes to prove that more than 10% is not needed, because it works just great. It also contains Vitamin B5 and Shea Butter, which is helpful in calming the skin, as well. Even when this cream is applied heavily, it comes off just as easily.
Weleda Calendula Diaper Care
Weleda Diaper Cream is a product of Germany. This cream is wonderful for those with allergies. It works even on babies with extensive food allergies and other infirmities that cause problems with the skin. Along with zinc oxide, it contains several natural ingredients including, bees wax, Calendula flower extract, Chamomile flower extract, Sweet Almond oil, and Sesame Seed oil. One word of warning, do not go without using this cream for a while. After being opened, if it sits for too long of a period, the oil separates from the cream, making it difficult to apply.
