4 Children Thrown Off Bridge by Father

Why Don't People Pick on Someone Their Own Size?

Donna H. Davey
On January 9th 2008, Lam Luong, 37, confessed to taking his four children from their home after having a quarrel with his wife, Ngoc Phan, 23, and tossing Danny Luong, 1 month; Lindsey Luong, 1; Hannah Luong, 2; and Ryan Phanto, 3, from the Dauphin Island bridge in Mobile County, Alabama.

Lam Luong has been charged with capitol murder and as of January 13th, the bodies of two of the four children have been recovered.

I find it beyond the pale that innocent children, unable to defend themselves, always pay the price and are the victims of the most atrocious crimes imaginable. There should be no tolerance for those that inflict suffering and bodily destruction on the ones who cannot fight back.

Lam Luong tossed those children to unspeakable deaths but didn't jump off the bridge himself. Why don't these people rid the world of themselves instead of harming the ones who love and trust them the most?

No matter what fate awaits Lam Luong, he won't suffer like those children did. What happened to "the punishment shall fit the crime?"
