4 Exciting Adult Sports Programs in Papillion, Nebraska

It seems as if there is always something to do for children and their families. Whether it is a carnival, a city festival or camps, there isn't a lot of downtime; but adults should be able to participate in things that are geared towards adults only; not necessarily to "get away" from their children; but to have fun on their own and relax.

In Papillion there are several adult sports activities offered during the spring, summer, and fall seasons; which are as follows:

1. Co-ed Softball Leagues-These leagues are held in the spring, summer, and fall seasons. The spring and summer leagues are on Sunday and Thursday nights; April 18^th through August 1^st. There are Class "D" and "C" divisions available with 8 teams per division. Games begin at 6:00 pm at the Petersen Softball Complex located at 1101 1^st Street in Papillion. There are 7 games and an "End of Season Tournament." You must register by Friday, April 9^th. The cost is $170.00 per team and an additional $18.00 (per game) for umpire fees. The entry fee includes 1 score book and 1 dozen softballs. The fall league plays on Sunday and Thursday nights from August 15^th through October 14^th. Games start at 6:00 pm and are also held at the Petersen Softball Complex. In addition to the 7 league games there will be a "Final Position Night" that is for "Class D" divisions only. The fees are $106.00 per team plus an additional $18.00 (per game) for umpire fees. The deadline to register is Friday, August 6^th; and limited to 16 teams each night.

2. Co-ed Volleyball is from September 15^th through December 15^th; there will be no games on November 24^th. Games begin at 6:30 pm and are played in the Papillion Junior High gym. Fees associated are $120.00 per team plus $10.00 for official's fees. There are 8 weeks of games plus an "End of Season Tournament"; registration deadline in Friday, September 3^rd.

3. Men's 5 V 5 Flag Football costs $240.00 per team plus $20.00 (per game) for official's fees. The season is from August 22^nd through November 21^st; there will be no games on September 5^th. Games begin at 10:00 am on Sunday afternoons; played at the Papillion South Turf Field. Registration deadline is Friday, August 13^th.

4. Co-ed Dodge ball will be on Sunday nights starting at 5:00 pm in the Papillion Jr. High gym. The season starts October 3^rd and runs through December 19^th. There will be 8 weeks of games plus an "End of Season Tournament." It is $100.00 per team plus an additional $8.00 (per game) for official's fees. You must register by Friday, September 24^th.
