Hamtramck Labor Day Festival: The Hamtramck fest has been going on for the last 30 years. It features camping for families, Music, Arts & Antiques fair, Live Music, Food vendors & Participating businesses, and the Polish Day Parade.

There are several things for the children to do and adults alike. This year the parade will be on Monday @ 12pm, and the Battle of the Bands is Featured on Sunday from 3-9pm. Come out and check out what Hamtramck has to offer.

Michigan Renaissance Festival: If you are interested in learning more about the middle ages, the era of magicians, and belly dancers you have come to the right place. The Renaissance Fest is all about just that.

The festival is open every weekend from August 21^{st -} October 3. Hours of operation are from 10am-7pm. The Renaissance Fest gives children a chance to learn about Northern Europe.

Detroit International Jazz Fest: The International Jazz Fest 2010 is featuring hundreds of musical acts, and includes a Kids Bop Tent with stories, tap dancing, songs, and much more. The Detroit International Jazz fest has been around for 31 years and going strong.

This festival features the best in Jazz entertainment for the whole family. Musical acts include; Pepper Adams, Clifford Brown, Horace Silver, and Gerald Wilson & the Manhattan Transfer to name a few.

Ford Arts, Beats, & Eats: The Ford Arts, Beats, & Eats is from Sept 3-6 this year located in Royal Oak. The Arts, Beats, & Eats is hosting several events for the children & enjoyment for the Adults as well. This year it will feature the music of Macy Gray, Clint Black, Crud, and Kansas to name a few.

While there are 5 stages the festival is featuring Detroit's own Katrina Carson & Thornetta Davis this year. The Ford Arts, Beats, & Eats has a general admission price of $3 at the door and will be sharing the earned revenue [50%] with 13 more charities.

Advanced ticket sales was already divided up among charities ranging in over 2 million in profit.
