Wake up early and be sure to catch those morning waves. Known for its consistent surf, Sebastian Inlet, is a favorite among many. Be alert, you will be sharing the water with some of the largest surfing crowds. There are three breaks in the area; "First Peak," "Second Peak," and "Third Peak." "First Peak" offers some of the most talented and competitive surfers a wild ride.

Sebastian Inlet State Park is home to 51 campsites. All campsites include electricity, water, restrooms with hot showers, and vending and laundry machines. If camping is not your thing you have the option to rent one of the beautiful condos offered in Sebastian Inlet. All condos range in size; some are perfect for the single traveler where others are more suited for a family.

Cocoa Beach

Are you looking for fewer crowds and a laid back atmosphere? Head over to Cocoa Beach. The waves in Cocoa Beach are more relaxing which makes this the ideal place for long boarders. Another advantage to surfing in Cocoa Beach is the ongoing surfing competitions. Month after month, Cocoa Beach is home to many local contests. These contests are great to watch and a great way to pick up some new surfing tips. If you want to try surfing for the first time your in the right place. Cocoa Beach offers many opportunities for the first time surfer; lessons, board rentals, and calmer waves.

Huntington Beach , CA

When you think of Huntington Beach, CA what do you think of? Sunbathers spread across the hot sand, children building sandcastles, the glow at night from bonfire pits, swimmers, and of course surfers. The Huntington Beach Pier extends more than 1,800 feet into the ocean. It is a great spot for viewing the surfers below.

At the end of the pier you will find the Surf City Store, Kite Connection and Ruby's Diner. Lifeguard Tower Zero, which looks like an air traffic control tower, is operated 365 days a year by lifeguards. At another end of the pier you will find Duke's and Savannah at the Beach. Both of these upscale restaurants offer amazing views.

Do you enjoy fishing? This is another popular activity among the pier. You will find bait shops and cleaning stations conveniently located throughout. A farmer's market, weekend summer concerts, and dozens of volleyball courts are nearby for your enjoyment.

Taking a break from catching the gnarly waves? Head out to enjoy some of the other surf related activities in town. Throughout the city you will become immersed in the history of surfing. Great legends like Duke Kahanamoku and modern day legends like Kelly Slater are honored. When you are taking a moment on dry land but still having surfing on your mind take a look at some of these hot spots; International Surf Museum, Sufers' Hall of Fame, Surfing Walk of Fame, and Bob Bolen's Surf Museum. Throughout the year this city plays host to many surfing events including the NSSA West Coast Championships, Hello Kitty Boardfest, and US Open of Surfing in July. When it comes to surfing its just natural to want to come to Huntington Beach.

Costa Rica

If you are looking for monster waves you are in the wrong spot. Costa Rica is known more for having consistent surf all year long. The combination of offshore winds, warm waters, and easy access to breaks makes Costa Rica an ideal surfing destination. Add in the culture of Costa Rica which supports surfers with surf shops, board rentals, plenty of hotels and restaurants and you feel like you are home.
