Michelle Knudson
There are several things that we can cut out of a budget in order to save money long term. We may think that it is best for us to cut out certain wants in order to be able to pay other bills. Here are four key expenses not to cut.

Cellular Phone

Some people have always use the cellular phones and not a regular house phone. You don't want to shut off a cellular phone in order to save money. Why? You could end up with a breach of contact expensive fee and it may damage your credit if you don't pay it. You deposit to get a new one turned on later on will most likely cost you more money in the long run. Gather some money from the budget in order to save money long term to avoid certain fees and increased deposits. Cellular phone companies are considered a utilities which enables them to use your credit phone against you.

Auto Insurance

It is cheaper to keep the auto policy on cars you don't drive due to another discount offered my insurance companies for multiple car discount. You don't want the premiums to go up even higher due to lapsed insurance on one of your vehicles. It could actually make your insurance go up if you switch to another company too.

Long Distance on Land Lines

Several companies will raise the deposit amount when you turn off your telephone that is a land line at home. People have had to pay a long distance deposit in order to have a new land line phone again despite making all the payments on time. Other people have had to pay deposits for long distance due to disconnects on a regular phone bill that had no long distance charges on it.

Internet & TV

It is cheaper to pay for Internet and cable TV at the same time. If you decide to get them installed at a separate time then it will cost you almost double the install price. You want to get a discount by making sure to have them hooked up at the same time since its the same price fee when they come out to hook up cable TV and Internet. It usually costs $50 or more whenever you add an extra service for install fees that you didn't have in the beginning.
