There is a hybrid version of this car too that was introduced in 2005 and later discontinues in 2007.

There have been versions of this car since its first introduction, the latest on is the fourth generation Altima. The 4th generation Nissan Altima is a combination of superior performance with a very attractive exterior and is available as a two-door coupe with a 175-hp 2.5-liter V6 engine or a four-door sedan with a 270-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine. It has a 6-speed manual transmission. The Honda Accord has a fuel economy of 23 mpg within the city limits, and 31 mpg while on the highway.
4. Toyota Prius - The Toyota Prius is a mid-size, electric hybrid car, that was introduced by Toyota Motor Corporation in 1997. It was the first hybrid vehicle that was mass-produced. It is a car that has been a benchmark for environmentally friendly transportation. Its latest version NHW11 was introduced in 2000. This new generation car has a 52/70 kW/HP power engine. It is a front-wheel driven; with a five-door lift back that delivers value, comfort and makes the ride very smooth, and also has a very impressive economy of fuel economy with low emissions. The Toyota Prius has a fuel economy of 48 mpg within the city limits, and 45 mpg while on the highway.
