It is a car that has been a benchmark for environmentally friendly transportation. Its latest version NHW11 was introduced in 2000. This new generation car has a 52/70 kW/HP power engine. It is a front-wheel driven; with a five-door lift back that delivers value, comfort and makes the ride very smooth, and also has a very impressive economy of fuel economy with low emissions. The Toyota Prius has a fuel economy of 48 mpg within the city limits, and 45 mpg while on the highway.
