4 Reality Shows Worth the Time in Entertainment Value

Renee Bagley
Reality TV, fans either love it, or hate it - but there is no denying reality television is an interesting format. Sure it isn't complete reality because there are often scripts and yes cameras are rolling, but this is as close to the stars reality as fans can get. That's why we keep tuning in- to see celebrities at their best and worst, for the drama, and the intrigue.

Here are my top 4 picks for best reality shows to watch for entertainment value.

Celebrity Apprentice - Celebrities teaming up to earn money for their charities can't be beat. The show is real, entertaining, and it's for a good cause. Often fans feel like they have met each celebrity by watching the show because we see what their true colors are. They may not be full themselves on the show because they are aggressively seeking the win, but fans see them at their best and worst. This allows us to see many dimensions to the star. Other than being a billionaire extraordinaire- this may be Donald trump's best idea, ever.

Dancing With The Stars - They always promise big stars, but this year the shows producers actually provided. The season 12 cast consists of Hollywood A-Lister's, a Playboy Bunny, a boxing champion, a NFL and MVP player for the Steelers, wrestler extraordinaire, The Karate Kid, talk show host, radio personality, Disney star, singer, and more entertainment. That's right season 12 has big names like Ralph Macchio, Kirstie Alley, Hines Ward, Kendra Wilkinson, Romeo, Wendy Williams,

America's Next Top Model - Tyra Banks has a good thing going with her model reality show. She seems to enjoy helping the contestants find their confidence and proper image. Each season she proves that modeling isn't strictly about beauty, but a deeper element.

American Idol - This is a fresh season with the addition of two new judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez joining the judges panel, alongside original judge Randy Jackson. This is the best season of "American Idol" because the singers are more talented, the judges are interesting, and the show has been reformatted. The shows make over has done it well.
