4 Reasons to Dislike the LG Revolution Android Smartphone
4 Poor Features of the Great LG Revolution Smartphone
The LG Revolution Android smartphone boasts such great features as a large 4.3" display, mobile hotspot capabilities, great camera quality, and other features, but under the surface the LG Revolution has a few bad features as well.
Lacking RAM and Processor Speed
The LG Revolution is considered by many to be a high-end Android smartphone, but one quick look under the Revolution's hood and at its specs and one might be led to believe otherwise. Most modern smartphones within the same price range of the LG Revolution are equipped with dual core processors, 1GB of RAM, and lots of internal storage memory (with expansion options), but not this smartphone. The LG Revolution boasts less than half of most modern smartphones with a paltry 512MB of RAM, and a 1GHz single core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The lacking processor and RAM of this processor makes it a way slower than other smartphone competitors.
Bloatware
I'm not sure why, but Verizon seems to always insist on pre-installing loads of unnecessary and often unwanted apps and software on the smartphones that they have in their lineup. Bloatware (as it's known) hogs precious internal memory space, clutters a smartphone's Home screen, and has been known to interfere with other apps that users may find useful. To make matters worse, the bloatware installed on the LG Revolution cannot be uninstalled and will remain an annoying and memory hog for the entire life of the LG Revolution smartphone.
Battery Life
One of the main features to watch out for with any smartphone is its battery life. Even if you had the best smartphone known to man, if it's lacking in battery life, it'll really put a damper on the overall experience of the smartphone. Unfortunately, the battery of the LG Revolution is one of its most complained about features and it has been known to not only drain battery while talking and using apps, but it will also drain battery life while on standby '" and will likely not last throughout the day without needing to be recharged.
Poor Reception and Call Quality
Most consumers expect smartphones to be the do-it-all gadget of modern times, but while it's great that smartphones can run apps, play games, serve as media players, and other great things, it must first work as a great phone. The LG Revolution is notorious for its poor call quality and reception and although it's packed with great features, it can cause lots of headaches as an actual phone.
