The person freaks out over lost or missing pills

One of the biggest indicator of a problem is someone who throws a fit regarding lost or missing pills. He or she may imply that they are only throwing a fit because the insurance and regulations will not allow them another bottle for 30 days. It is true that there is a federal regulations on a pain pills and nerve pills along with other pills regarding rules to reduce drug addiction. The person doesn't realize that he or she just needs the doctor to call in a new prescription in most cases.

They count the pills

OCD stand for obsessive-compulsive disorder. The pill counting is usually a good indicator of a prescription drug problem. Obsessive-compulsive disorder can go hand-in-hand with an addiction to pills. There is a difference between a physical addiction and psychological addiction. There is hope left for an individual who simply have the physical addiction from a simple mistake due to long-term use for medical purposes. The person with a psychological addiction often use the drugs for recreational purposes only.

Insomnia

Insomnia is common when someone has withdrawals from prescription drugs. The insomnia will go away on its own in most cases. It is a good idea to talk to the doctor about insomnia issues while winging off the pills.

Warning: It is not safe to stop cold turkey any benzo such as Ativan and Xanax. Clonazepam is another benzo pill in the family. You need to consult with a doctor before you stop taking any benzo pills whatsoever. You need to consult a doctor before you stop taking any antidepressants. Do not stop taking antipsychotic pills cold turkey what ever you do without talking to a doctor first.
