I agree on radio contests. When we run them, we get a lot of calls, but interestingly not when the contest first begins and people still aren't up to speed on it. That's probably the best time to call. It's a great way to get stuff at the cost of only a local telephone call. Also, keep in mind the competition will be weaker at small radio stations as opposed to big city stations.
Can't win if we don't try, huh?!
The suggestion to look at your store receipts is well taken. I have done several surveys after shopping certain stores. Perhaps I will win a gift card one of these days :-)
