4,000 Americans Dead in Iraq

This article is about how 4,000 American's died in Iraq so far. This is a tragedy in my eyes. There is no need to put any more of our women and men in jeopardy for this war.

This war in my eyes is dumb. Yeah I know it was to try to stop terrorism in America, but so far that has not happened it has just killed many of our son's, daughters, women and men. This war did not have to happen.

President Bush had all the right intentions when this war first started. Then when it came to pulling our troops out when they should have been pulled out he basically said that the war is not over yet.

I have many friends in the war right now that I can only talk to over the internet. I always tell them to be careful over there, but I know it is hard for them to. One friend is getting to the point where he would rather die than fight this war anymore.

That is horrible for them to start thinking this way because they have nowhere else to go but fight and die for their country. These men and women fighting for our country are my heroes.

They put their lives on the line everyday for our country and theirs. When is enough enough?? It should be right now. Let Iraq worry about what their country is going through not America.

Some men and women sign up to take care of their country and I completely agree with them, but when a war lasts so long their courage only lasts so long. I pray every night that all of them come home safely and now to find out 4 more died to take the death toll now to 4,000.

This is rediculous. People need to open their eyes and get our men and women out of there before it is too late. For some it is too late and I pray for the families of them falling soldiers. It is a shame to lose a family member in such a tragedy.

I know they have to have some people to make an infantry, but the war has been long enough. Instead of having 4,000 men and women killed they need to have brought all them home before things got really bad.

In my eyes this war should not have happened in the first place. If I agree that it should have then it has gone on long enough. How many people have to die in order for all of them to come home? 4,000? 5,000?? No it should not be like that.

I know my friends over there are scared to death of not coming home alive. Why have people scared that way? This is not the way life should be. Life should be happy and fun loving.

In my opinion the war should have been over long ago. People want their husbands, wives, sons, and daughters to come home.

I could not imagine how a parent would feel knowing that one day they might get a call or service men showing up at their houses to tell them that their son or daughter has been killed in Iraq. That is so horrible just sitting here thinking about it.

It is a shame of how many people have died in this war. I know war has to happen whenever called on, but when is enough enough? I say 4 years ago was enough. People's lives could have been saved if it was over 4 years ago. But that is just my opinion.
