43 things to do that could change your life is the premise. There is a book you can buy called, Dream It. List It. Do It!: How to Live a Bigger & Bolder Life, from the Life List Experts at 43Things.com. To make your list you can look at some other people's lists or use the suggestions of the most popular items. I decided to make a 43 things list and find out what I really wanted to accomplish in life.
You can view my 43 things list here: http://www.43things.com/mariedaniels. I suggest if you feel your life lacks direction or a feeling of accomplishment you to should make a 43 things list. You can even go into your account and challenge yourself to complete a goal before a certain date.
Just like in the movie Bucket List with actors Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman we often don't analyze our lives and look at what is really important to us. We just seem to go about our daily lives just working and existing. Many people when deathly sick are forced to look at their lives and realized that their lives were not how they envisioned, then they want to do what they really think is important. The terminally ill patients know their lives are going to end soon, although they still hope for a miracle cure. Those individuals sometimes take a step back and think about what they really wanted in life, what is important to them. They don't have to please everyone; they don't have to impress anyone. If they are able they sometimes make a list of things they want to do before they die.
You may not be about to die, but you still might want to figure out what is important to you for your life. Just head on over to the 43 things website and sign up for a profile then you can add your 43 things to do with your life. You can then share the list with friends and family or just keep it for yourself and keep track of your own life's accomplishments.
Think not about why you will be remembered or what you did with your life but as you accomplished things on your own "important things" list.
