Asheville always put on one of the biggest and best fireworks displays in the western North Carolina mountains and some of the best places to see everything is from the Blue Ridge Parkway where a lot of people park and watch the displays all over the city. The 4th of July Over Downtown Asheville -
The City of Asheville invites its citizens and guests to their annual 4th of July celebration in Pack Square Park. The events has something for everyone in your family with games, music from local Asheville bands, entertainment and festivities starting at 4:00PM and going until the fireworks start at 9:30PM.
The city promises they will offer one of the biggest fireworks displays in the entire area. The park is in a downtown square across from the Pack Square Conservancy with plenty of parking up to a mile away from Pack Square Park. Bring your family and friends and enjoy a whole day in downtown Asheville.

4th of July in Downtown Black Mountain and Montreat -
The town of Montreat will be hosting a 2 day 4th of July weekend celebration. First the town will have a parade going through downtown on July 3rd starting at 10:30AM.
Black Mountain will be hosting an all day family fun and fireworks show starting at Noon on July 4th and going up to the fireworks display at 7PM. The events during the day will include contests, games for the children, food, drinks and a street dance. Another event taking place on July 4th is the Swannanoa Valley Museum annual 4th of July hike from the museum through the mountains to watch the fireworks. 4th of July Powwow Weekend in Cherokee -
The July Powwow is an amazing 3 day event in Cherokee, North Carolina that features authentic Indian dancing, drumming and tribal regalia. There is all day dance competitions featuring men, women, children and groups that are guaranteed to excite you and entertain.
The events start on July 2nd and go through the 4th when the ceremonies end with a special brand of fireworks you can see all over the area. If you plan to stay for the entire weekend you can enjoy Santa's Land with the children or the Harrah's Cherokee Casino. There are plenty of hotels and campgrounds to stay at in the area and throughout the Smokey Mountains and the Pisgah National Forest.

July 4th Celebration in Hendersonville -
The city of Hendersonville hosts their annual all day 4th of July celebration with a parade through downtown that starts at 4PM. The Fourth of July Festival at Jackson Park starts at 2PM and will include live music, food, drinks, arts and craft vendors, the SAWA Lumberjack Series Competition, a old cars show, wrestling show and fireworks at dusk. This years musical entertainment will be country singer Matt Stillwell.
