4th of July Celebrations in Green Bay, Wisconsin

S H
The Fourth of July is a day that holds celebrations all over the city of Green Bay. With numerous festivities and one giant firework show at dusk (the largest fireworks display north of Milwaukee, in fact), Independence Day is sure to be fun-filled and exciting for the entire family to enjoy.

ShopKo Fireworks Celebrate AmericaFest

Every year, ShopKo Fireworks Celebrate Americafest is held in downtown Green Bay. Beginning at noon, the food, music and entertainment last all day long. Room for thousands of people to line both sides of the Fox River, festivities are sure to get the crowd pumped up for the grand finale - one of the best city-wide fireworks displays in Wisconsin.

Celebrate Independence Day at Hazelwood

For a day of family fun with the kids, the Hazelwood Historic House Museum is a great place to be. With regular admission prices ($4 for adults and $2.50 for children 6-12), Hazelwood celebrates Independence Day in an old-fashioned way from 10 AM to 4 PM. A performance by the Heritage Players is expected, and historic activities are available for the entire family. Food and drinks are also available for purchase.

Rusty Ps and Heiruspecs Hip Hop 4th of July

For the ones that just want to straight up party, the corner of Dousman and Main in Green Bay is the place to be on the 4th. Madhatter is spinning from 4-5 PM and the RP's will be hitting it up from 6-7 PM. Minneapolis' own Heiruspecs along with Haz Solo and others will be there.

Titletown Brewing Company

The Titletown Brewing Company has planned a celebration of its own, from 4 PM until well after the big fireworks show is over. Great food and beverages compliment the great live music as the crowd builds up for finale. VIP seating behind the building is available, for what is claimed to be one of the best seats in the city for viewing the fireworks.

Fire Over the Fox Festival

This is the show that all festivities in Green Bay are ushering in on the 4th. However, one can choose to pay $10 to reserve a seat at the Leicht Memorial Park grounds to get an amazing view of the fireworks display over the Fox River. This great seating location includes a chair, nearby bathrooms and concessions, and music both before and after the fireworks. Tickets can be purchased at any Festival Food location in Green Bay.
