Some Massachusetts communities are celebrating the Fourth of July holiday one weekend early, as a cost-saving measure. Early fireworks also give residents a chance to enjoy even more fireworks between now and the official 4th of July holiday, while still having time to show up at requisite family events. These Massachusetts cities and towns are hosting Independence Day fireworks on June 24 to June 26, 2011, one week before the official 4th of July holiday. Dates, rain dates, times and locations verified with venues and the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services.
