July 4th Extravaganza
This holiday bash begins in the town of Port Jervis at 6 pm and ends in Matamoras, Pa. It is a day of patriotic spirit and fun with the reading of the Declaration of Independence, food, music and fireworks.
Ellenville Fireworks and Parade
Parade begins at noon on Canal Street in Ellenville, NY. Fireworks are at dusk at the Resnick Airport in Wawarsing.
Village of Saugerties 4th of July Parade, Fireworks and Cantine Field Events
The parade starts at the high school at 11am and ends at Cantine Field. Throughout the day, there will be food, music and fun at Cantine Field as well as the spectacular fireworks show after dark.
Cairo 4th of July Parade
A small parade in the historic town of Cairo. Come support the local businesses and organizations. This event takes place around 7pm on Wednesday.
Independence Day Parade and Fireworks
This event takes place at Windham Mountain and starts with a parade at 7 pm. There will be a barbeque and a fireworks display at sunset. It is a great tourist spot in the Catskills.
Dutchman's Landing Music in the Park
This is the classic music and fireworks celebration in the village of Catskill. The band playing this year is a classic rock band called Johnny Moon and the Starz. Fireworks will follow after the concert. Dutchman's Landing is on Main Street.
East Durham 4th of July Parade
Although it is a 4th of July celebration, the event is on the Saturday following the 4th of July. The parade starts around noon with a small celebration afterwards. The location is in the little Irish town of East Durham. Come celebrate Independence Day with an Irish twist!
Athens Street Festival
In case you missed all the 4th of July celebrations, you are still in time for the annual Athens Street Festival on July 14th in downtown Athens, NY. This festival is a family fun day for the entire family, with music, vendors, food, rides and more! There is even a fireworks display at dusk.
