4th of July Fireworks Displays in New Jersey 2011

Can you imagine a 4^th of July without a huge fireworks display? From the Skylands to the Jersey Shore, 4th of July fireworks displays will be taking place all over New Jersey this year. For your convenience, here is a tentative schedule of select towns' fireworks displays. Note: this list will be updated frequently, so continue to check back often for added displays and any cancellations.

Asbury Park

It's fireworks greetings from the Boardwalk at Asbury Park this 4^th of July! Show begins on July 4^th at dusk.

Atlantic City

This city is so popular, they have not one but two 4^th of July fireworks displays! The first one takes place July 4^th in the Marina District at 9:20pm and the second display goes off on the Boardwalk at 9:45pm.

Atlantic Highlands

This town starts celebrating early! Fireworks display takes place on July 1^st at 9:30pm at Municipal Harbor on Simon Lake Drive.

Barnegat

The fireworks show begins at dusk on July 4^th at the Municipal Docks on East Bay Avenue. There will be a 7:30 concert before that.

Belleville

Belleville has one of the best town fireworks displays in New Jersey. Just head to the High School to catch the action at dusk on July 4^th!

Bloomfield

Go to Brookdale Park on July 5th for fireworks at dusk. ps...this is not too far from Holstein's Ice Cream Parlor which was famously featured in the last episode of The Sopranos!

Bridgewater

Fireworks go off on July 4^th at dusk as part of Bridgewater's Independence Day Family Festival in North Branch Park.

Camden

Stay on the Jersey side of the Delaware to view the 4th annual Independence Week Fireworks over the Delaware River on July 1st. For more information, click here.

Clark

The fireworks begin at dusk on July 4th. Just head to ALJ High School on Westfield Avenue.

Cranford

It's an all day celebration at Nomahegan Park beginning with canoe races at 8am and ending with fireworks later that evening on July 4th.

The Caldwells

Fireworks begin at dusk on July 4th at James Caldwell High School after an evening of food, entertainment, and live music.

Cape May

The fireworks go off at 9:15pm on July 4^th from a barge in the Atlantic Ocean. Just go towards the beach for a good seat!

Cherry Hill

The Cherry Hill Independence Day Celebration takes place on July 4th at Cherry Hill High School West Jonas Morris Stadium. Festivities begin at 7pm and fireworks go off at 9pm.

Clifton

The City Picnic takes place on July 3rd at Main Memorial Park on Main St. Fireworks scheduled for 7pm.

Collingswood

Head to the town high school on July 4th for a grand fireworks display that starts around 9:15pm.

Evesham

This Burlington county town will feature 4th of July fireworks at Cherokee High School at 9:45pm to cap off a day long Independence Day celebration.

Fairfield

Getting a jump start on the Independence Day celebration, Fairfield will hold it's holiday festivities followed by fireworks on June 30th at the Recreation Complex starting at 7:30pm

Freehold

Freehold Raceway will hold this year's 4^th of July fireworks display and live music event on July 3^rd. Concerts begin around 5pm and fireworks go off at dusk.

Hazlet
Head to Veterans Memorial Park on July 4^th for the fireworks show going off at dusk.

Hoboken and Weehawken

Catch the Macy's Fireworks Display from across the Hudson and save transit costs!! Show begins at 9:20pm.

Jersey City-CANCELLED

Livingston

Head to Memorial Park on July 4th for a fireworks display at dusk.

Long Branch

The fireworks display takes place on July 3 ^rd at dusk on the Ocean Promenade. The Oceanfest 2011 celebration goes all day from 10a-10p on July 4 ^th along the beach. More fireworks at dusk.

Montclair

The fireworks go off at Yogi Berra Stadium on July 4th at 9pm.

Maplewood

Go to Memorial Park on July 4^th for Maplewood's fireworks display at 9:30pm. Rain date: July 5^th.

Newark

Head to Branch Brook Park for fireworks at dusk on July 1st.

Nutley

Nutley will be busy on July 4^th when it shuts down part of Franklin Avenue for day long holiday celebration and activities beginning at 9:30am. Fireworks display begins at dusk.

Ocean City

The Ocean City fireworks display features music choreography. The show takes place July 4^th just off the coast of the Atlantic Ocean at 9^th St.

Point Pleasant

Head to Jenkinson's Boardwalk for the Independence Day fireworks on July 4th at 9pm.

Ridgewood

Veteran's Field on N. Maple Ave. is the site for Ridgewood's July 4^th fireworks display. Show begins at dusk. Tickets required to enter Veteran's Field. Contact email: ridgewood4th@gmail.com.

Seaside Heights

Fireworks display takes place July 4^th on the Boardwalk at 9:30pm.

Sparta

Up in the Skylands, Sparta will host is Independence Day fireworks on Sunday July 3rd over the lake.

Summit

Memorial Field on Ashland Road is where you go for this fireworks display on July 4 ^th . Pyrotechnics begin at dusk. Concert before featuring The Cameos.

Union

On July 4th, head to Bierruempfel Memorial Park at Vauxhall Road for fireworks at dusk.

Verona

Verona will also hold an early celebration with a fireworks display at the High School on June 30th. Show begins at dusk.

Vineland

This Cumberland County town will host it's Fourth of July Concert and Fireworks on the 4th at at Giampietro Park at Lincoln and Landis Avenues. Concert begins at 7pm. Fireworks at dusk.

Wildwood

Head to the Boardwalk at Pine Avenue for this fireworks display on July 4^th at 10pm.
