2007 Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival

Enjoy blues music and fireworks on the 4th of July, the opening date of the Waterfront Blues Festival. Blues music is featured on several stages. The opening evening is capped off by a wonderful fireworks display over the Willamette River starting at 10:00 PM. The fireworks can also be seen from several other spots in the city without needing admission to the festival.

4th of July at the Historic Reserve

Better known as the Fort Vancouver fireworks festival, this is the largest fireworks display in the area and one of the largest fireworks displays west of the Mississippi. The event actually kicks of the day before with a outdoor showing of Happy Feet at dusk. On the 4th there is a pancake breakfast followed by entertainment, a carnival and food vendors, a blood drive and a kids play area. The Fort Vancouver National Historic Site and Pearson Air Museum are also open for an interesting educational experience. The fireworks display is a 30 minute show and is accompanied by live music. The show starts at 10:10 PM.

83rd Annual Molalla Buckeroo Rodeo

Starting on June 30, the Molalla Buckeroo is a large rodeo event in the small town of Molalla. There are many events throughout the rodeo including dances, a carnival, a golf tournament, parade, barbeque contest and more. The rodeo is capped off by a fireworks display not only on the 4th of July but also on July 2nd and 3rd as well.

Starting at 7:30 AM with a pancake breakfast, the festival includes an art show, car show, food booths, entertainment, book sale, parade, and demonstrations. The fireworks display starts at 10:00 PM.

Pepsi Fireworks Spectacular
Oaks Amusement Park
Portland, OR
The gates to the park open at 10 AM. Limited and Unlimited ride bracelets are for sale at the ticket booth. Ride bracelets are good for the whole day until midnight. There will be live entertainment all day long. Picnic spaces are available on a first come first served basis. Fireworks start at 9:55 PM

Family Festival
Happy Valley City Park,

This family festival includes a parade, food, entertainment and a fireworks display in the evening. There is also a children's area with a petting zoo, mini golf and more. One other feature of this year's festival is "Happy Valley Idol". Season 2 finalist Kimberly Caldwell will be a guest judge.

Oregon City and Gladstone 4th of July Celebration

Two cities combine forces for this 4th of July fireworks display. Also featured are food booths and live entertainment. The park has access to the Willamette and Clackamas rivers for water fun during the day. Fireworks can be viewed from Clackamette Park as well as Meldrum Bar Park in Gladstone.
