4th of July Fireworks in Hot Springs, Arkansas 2009

Location: Oaklawn
Oaklawn will host the "Spa Blast" firework display on July 3, 2009. The gates open at 5p.m. and will include activities such as entertainment, music, an RC airshow, rock walls, and a family fun park. To end this fun-filled event will be the fireworks display which begins at 9:35p.m.

Location: Lake Balboa in Hot Springs Village
Hot Springs Village will host their 4th of July Celebration on the Lake Balboa boat ramp starting at 9:15p.m. There will be food, beverages, beer, and wine made available to guests for purchase. It is important to note the Balboa boat ramp will be closed at 6p.m. Anyone trying to access the ramp after this time will not be allowed until after the firework show is over. It is also important to note no vehicles will be able to cross the Balboa dam after 6:30p.m. For convenience, there will be shuttles that will run continuously from 7p.m.-8:30p.m.. These shuttles will also make 2 runs from the Desoto Golf Course, one at 6:30p.m. and the last at 7:30p.m.

Location: Degray Lake in Arkadelphia
During the day there will be contests, games. a scavenger hunt, and an underwater treasure hunt for all ages. Starting at 9:30p.m.,there will be a firework display on Lake Degray.This event is hosted by Degray Lake Resort State Park, Iron Mountain Lodge and Marina, and local fire departments. This firework display is special because the annual show is funded through donations made by local businesses and residents. The fireworks will display from an island across from Degray State Park Lodge. The firework show will last approximately 18-25 minutes. Location: Lake Hamilton
Before the firework show, spectators may enjoy live acoustic music on the Clarion hotel pool deck. The Pool bar will remain open from 4:30p.m.-10p.m. The live music will last from 5p.m.-9p.m. Note: Only registered hotel guests will be able to access the pool deck due to the popularity of this event.
