Whether you enjoy spending the 4th of July downtown or at the beach, Jacksonville Florida has it all covered for the holiday. The always popular Jacksonville Landing in downtown Jacksonville and the favorite of beach goers, the Sea Walk Pavilion, are where you'll find the two main Independence Day Celebrations.

All American 4th at the Landing - Fireworks in Downtown Jacksonville

Get there early for fun, music, and fireworks at Jacksonville Landing. The music starts at 2:00 pm and lasts until 2 am. You'll hear the Palmetto Catz, the 5 x 7 band and the Jay Garret Band. There are plenty of restaurant options at Jacksonville Landing or bring some snacks with you and just enjoy the views along the river until it is fireworks time. Although the Jacksonville Landing can be a rowdy place from time to time, the All American 4th at the Landing is billed as a family event and all bands are family friendly.

The fireworks begin at 9:45 pm. Shot from barges on the river behind Metropolitan Park, the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, and the Jacksonville Landing - with strobes on the Main Street and Acosta Bridges - there are plenty of viewing options from downtown if Jacksonville Landing is not your scene. You can view the 4th of July fireworks in downtown Jacksonville from the north and south banks of the St. Johns River. If you are near the Springfield area, Klutho Park is a popular place to watch without all of the parking and traffic hassles.

Wherever you watch, be sure to check for Jacksonville 4th of July boating and bridge closing information so you can get around town safely.
