4th of July Vodka Martini Recipes and More

Cassie Mae
Do you and your family and friends enjoy martinis? Here is an inexpensive and simple way to party this 4th of July with martini vodka drinks.

Rose's Cocktail Infusions- Flavors of drinks I have tried are Sour Apple Mix, Pomegranate Twist Mix, Blue Raspberry Mix, and Cranberry Twist Mix. I only paid $5.00 at the liquor store for each of these bottles. The drink comes in a 20 fl. ounce bottle.

The back of the bottle gives instructions on how to make your favorite martini. Each martini is one part of the flavored drink mix to one part vodka. Simple! I would definitely follow the directions to shake the flavored drink and vodka with ice and strain into your martini glass. It makes the drink nice and chilled before it tempts your lips.

You can also get creative with each of these flavors and mix two of these cocktail infusions with vodka to create an entirely different taste! Suggestions are on the back of the bottle as to which flavors to mix. Perhaps create your own masterpiece!

For the designated driver use these cocktail infusions and mix with equal parts of 7UP. I would imagine 50/50 soda or Squirt soda would be quite tasty, too.

Good news! There is no fat in any of these flavored drink mixes.

For those watching their sodium, carbs, and sugar: In a 1.4 oz serving there is sodium 15 mg to 25 mg depending on which flavor you use. The carbs are 15 grams or 16 grams each. Sugars are 13 grams or 14 grams.

It would be pretty to have the red Pomegranate Twist Mix, red Cranberry Twist Mix, and Blue Raspberry Mix for the 4th of July colors at your party.

You could make red, white, and blue beaded stir sticks. Or find flag stir sticks to put in each person's martini glass.

Want to decorate it a little more fruity? Put a fresh blueberry or two and fresh strawberry on the sharp stir stick. To add white peel, cut-up banana chunks, and you have your red, white, and blue festive drink.

*Tip: To keep the banana from turning brown, dip cut-up banana chunks in lemon juice for one minute.

Mimosa Time!
Another favorite drink for the 4th of July is a mimosa with a kick! One part champagne, one part orange juice, and a shot of vodka! Watch out, this will sneak right up on you! Serve in a champagne glass. Enjoy!

Vodka Tonic!
An old time favorite of many is the vodka & tonic drink. I hear of so many people who do not like gin & tonic. The flavor of gin is too strong or tastes like kerosene to them. Try tonic water and vodka to your taste. Or use our recipe of four parts tonic water and two parts vodka over ice. Tonic water comes in regular or diet. To me it is worth buying the diet for a lot less calories!

The second link listed you can click on vodka (or another alcohol) and let the computer know what type of taste you are looking for. Possibly fruity, spicy, fizzy, creamy, etc. Then it will give you drink recipes! There are a lot of combinations I have never heard of that look interesting and delicious to try.

Toast to our blessed country and enjoy! Always drive safe.

I don't do vodka. It has too many horrible memories. It was my father's drink of choice.
