5 Awesome Online Stores for Goth Clothing

Sometimes it's hard to find great goth clothes when all you have as resources are the local Hot Topic and a few skate shops. While there are great pieces in any store if you look long enough, sometimes its never that exact piece of clothing you were looking for. While the internet can bring many options, it can often bring up way too many without you knowing where to start your hunt for some great goth clothes. Here are a few of my favorite online stores for goth clothes. Either they will give you the inspiration to make your own (especially if you look at the price tag on some items) or you'll find exactly what you want to wear for a night out at the club.

I'm going to have to say this is my favorite even though I have yet to order anything here. The price tag can be a bit of a turn off at some times, but their clothing is exquisite. They have a 1930s and 1940s feel to them while also catering to the Japanese Dark Lolita fashion. A lot of the pieces could also translate well into "real life"- like an office job or a special occasion. I often go to the site to just dream what my closet could look like. This is one site to definitely check out even if you are not able to afford anything from them.

GoodGoth comes off as the emporium for everything gothic. You even have an option to buy hard to find cosmetics and every hair dye color you can think of. A lot of the clothing found on the site can be found almost anywhere, but there are occasions where you come across something that you would not find anywhere else. If you're looking for accessories, cosmetics, or purses though, you're in for a real treat. They have a large selection and very decently priced.

Goth Online Clothing Store #3: Lip Service http://www.lip-service.com/
Chances are you already own a few pieces of Lip Service clothing. Or you own Tripp clothing from Hot Topic and sense something very familiar with it. It's because Lip Services owns Tripp. Tripp is sold at any Hot Topic and some of the Lip Service designs leak into Tripp clothing. But if you're looking for something darker and edgier, take the step up and visit the Lip Service site. Sure, the prices are high, but you're going to get great quality clothing and from what I experienced, fast shipping. Lip Service has many collections to choose from, so if one collection is not your taste you can usually browse another and find something that suits your style. If the price tag is still too much, you can search Amazon and EBay for some of the pieces people are trying to sell.

The clothing on Rivithead isn't really my style these days. Some of the clothing is very futuristic, made for the hardcore clubbing goths that like bright colors and PVC. If that is your style, then this site is made for you. But if you're just in the market for some great shoes or boots, then I highly recommend this site. They have one of the largest selection of boots on the internet and if that weren't it, they also have some of the cheapest prices. I ordered a pair and received them less than a week later, which is awesome shipping time considering that I live in Alaska. And if you're in the market to buy a pair of Creepers, then you just have to make one stop here. It's an awesome site for anyone who loves shoes.

Goth Online Clothing Store #5: Gloomth http://www.gloomth.com/
Another site that most goths go to only to dream about the clothes they could own. Gloomth has a small selection of great pieces that are on the verge of Steampunk and Victorian if that is your style. The hefty price tag is due to the fact that they hand make all of the pieces when they get your information. This is the place for goth clothing tailored right to your size (as long as you don't like about any of your measurements). I'm sure the wait on the pieces are going to be longer than any of the other sites I mentioned, but well worth it when you get the perfectly sized piece of clothing. I always say that one day I will own a few pretty things from Gloomth. They have not only beautiful dresses, but I like to stare at their fitted coats for fall.
