5 Best Beach Day Gadgets

Don't Go to the Beach Without These Gadgets to Make Your Trip Awesome!

J G Hodnette
So you find yourself often at the beach and want to find out about some of the cool things that could improve your beach experience? Maybe you're a guy looking for something to attract some of the many available bakinied young women hanging out by the waves or maybe you're just a sucker for gadgets and you can't imagine a beach day without something to play with. Well no matter what your story is, you'll be happy to hear about these 5 great gadgets for the beach!

1. The Rolling Cooler/Audio Systemby Hammacher

This awesome electronic cooler is small and easily portable for transporting the much needed beers or sodas for your beach-day fun. On top of that, it comes with an AM/FM radio and two 3 watt speakers for jamming out on the beach with friends. For $150, this gadget may be a bit much, but music makes a party, so your beach day is sure to be fun!

2. Sanyo Xacti CA65

Hailing itself as the first waterproof camcorder, the Xacti is a $500 camera that can store up to 10 hours of footage. It works at 1.5 meters under the water so get a great shot of a nearby fish or maybe your wipeout from your body board. Have a great time without worrying about your camera getting ruined for once!

3. Digital Hero 3

This underwater camera can take over 50 minutes of video and last three hours on battery. That's not too shabby for a camera that only costs $140. The only downside is it's only 3 mexapixels which isn't too much in this day and age. Still, this camera can safely go as deep as 100 feet, so consider it for taking some awesome deep diving shots with your buddies.

4. Juice Bag Solar Beach Tote

Having fun at the beach can be great, but at some point you have to get back to civilization to charge your cell phone, right? Well no longer a problem! This great solar powered tote charges your cellular device while also carrying your beach things. For $250 maybe this isn't for everyone, but honestly what could be cooler?

5. Freestyle Audio Sport

Ever wished you could listen to your iPod underwater? Well while you're waiting for Apple to work on it, run out and get this great waterproof mp3 player. For only $130, this 1 GB music device pumps music into your ears up to 10 meters deep in the water. It's 100% waterproof and even floats in case it slips away from you somehow (you wouldn't be too happy searching for it at the bottom of the ocean). Cool product.

These are just five great products for the beach. If you didn't find what you were looking for here, keep searching. Beach time is supposed to be about impressing everyone around you--if you can't do it with washboard abs, then why not try some cool gadgets?
