5 Best Family Comedy Christmas Movies on DVD:Elf (2003)
Will Ferrell is hilariously cast as an elf with mistaken identity. Will Ferrell plays Buddy who as a baby was a stow away on Santa's sleigh. After being raised alongside the other elves at the North Pole, Buddy goes on a search for his biological father. Buddy wreaks havoc on the elf community and is even funnier as an elf in New York. Elf is a fun movie for adults and children a like.

5 Best Family Comedy Christmas Movies on DVD: A Christmas Story (1983)
Watching Ralphie Parker's friend stick his tongue to a flag pole is something that never gets old. My kids laugh as much at the Parker family as I do. Set in the 1940's, this movie is a nice reminder of the more simple toys and that dangers they could impose. "You'll shoot your eye out" is probably one of the most memorable move quotes ever. A Christmas Story is a timeless classic to watch with kids of any age.
5 Best Family Comedy Christmas Movies on DVD: Home Alone(1990)
Macaulay Culkin quickly became America's favorite kid to leave Home Alone. Kevin McAllister enjoys his new found freedom by jumping on his parents bed and learning the side effects of after shave. The eight year old is then challenged by two unsuspecting burglars, Harry and Marv. The highlights of this hilarious Christmas comedy are watching an average boy outwit two crooks played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern.
Watching these favorites on DVD always get my children even more excited for Santa to visit. As a parent, I love to be a part of that excitement with them!
