5 Best Features of the Amazon Kindle: Size
I love the way that you hold a Kindle. As an avid reader, I sometimes sit and read for many hours. My thumb used to always hurt from holding the book open. The Kindle is so easy to hold, I can read on it forever and I don't need to hold my place. If I need to get up and do something, I can just turn my kindle off. It will keep my place for me. When I turn it back on, it will be just as I left it.
5 Best Features of the Amazon Kindle: Wireless Book Delivery
This is where other electronic readers fail and the Kindle succeeds. When I want a new book, I just download it. It takes about three seconds from the time I click on the button to buy it, to the book appearing at the top of my book list. Even if other readers in the marketplace catch up, they will not allow you to shop at Amazon! I can pre-order books from Amazon, and they show up on the release date.
5 Best Features of the Amazon Kindle: Amazon.com
Another great feature of the Kindle is that it comes from Amazon, which is one of my favorite places to shop. I have an account with them. That means that I input my credit card info and they keep it on file. When I order a book through my Kindle, it is billed automatically. I get an email confirmation on my Blackberry with a receipt for the purchase. Amazon is very easy to work with, and they have great customer service.
5 Best Features of the Amazon Kindle: Memory
I currently have nine pages of titles in my Kindle. I can add up to 150 titles using an SD Memory card. I have one, but haven't needed it yet. Also, everything I buy is stored at Amazon. If I erase a title, I can resend it to my Kindle from my Kindle. I don't have to log on to my computer, or talk to customer service. This is a great feature. I want all of my content accessible from my Kindle, and it is.
5 Best Features of the Amazon Kindle: Amazon Customer Service
Amazon has great customer service. A few months after I bought my Kindle, something went wrong with the screen. I was devastated, but I did not have any trouble getting it replaced. I was able to get all of my content downloaded to my new Kindle without any trouble as well. It was such a relief.
Those are five reasons that the Kindle is the best e-reader available. While other products are trying to compete, the bottom line is that you want to keep your reader and your bookstore tied together. I can get free books from Amazon, preview books by downloading the first chapter, get book recommendations, and more. But it is the bookstore and the product themselves that have won me over as an eternal Kindle fan. You don't need gimmicks and fancy features when you have a great book right in your hand to read.

Post a CommentMy sis loves her, but I like a good old fashioned book
I know a lot of people like this kind of thing, but if I want to read a book, I want to hold a book in my hands and read it. I think technology has gone way too far.
