"The Time Of My Life" by Patrick Swayze and his wife, Lisa Neimi.
Published by: Atria
Release Date: September 29, 2009

This was my favorite of them all and I could not put this book down.
Patrick and Lisa met when he was 19 and she was 15. A few short years later, they were married.
The couple remained together until Mr. Swayze's death.
Despite the demons that surrounded them - Injuries, alcoholism, insecurities, anger, and the question that haunted Mr. Swayze at all times, "Who Am I?" the couple stayed strong in the face of adversity.
The intimate portrait of their marriage is inspiring and their love should be a shining example to everyone.

"Patrick Swayze" written by Mitchell Krugel
Published by Mass Market Paperbacks
Release date: 1988

Written for the fans by a fan, Krugel painstakingly details Mr. Swayze's life pre-1990.
Amusing, honest and touching, this book is a must for anyone who is Crazy about Swayze.
However, since the book is out of print, few copies are in circulation, and the going price is around $80.00.
If you feel like spending that much, copies can be obtained through www.amazon.com or www.alibris.com

Personality Comics Presents: Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore (Comic)
Publisher: PC
Release date: January 1, 1991

While film to comic book translations are generally horrid, this is worth having for collectors purposes.
Beautifully detailed drawings depict the story and the dialog is concise.
Extremely rare, the going rate for this treasure is around $60.00. If your local comic shop doesn't have it, copies can be found on www.amazon.com

Playboy Magazine, Entertainment for Men, June 1992
*Playboy has made the interview temporarily available for the public on their website: http://www.playboy.com/articles/patrick-swayze-20q-interview/index.html?page=1

This issue features a wonderful interview with Patrick Swayze.
It is very telling about his early life, how he felt about fame, his trials at school, and he also touches on his problems with drugs and alcohol.
I included this interview is important because it seems to be the first time he has publicly acknowledged his addictions and insecurities.
Copies of this issue are generally easy to find on www.alibris.com and range in price from $2.00 to $10.00
