Candy Canes are the perfect way to decorate for a winter wedding. If you are throwing a Christmas wedding, or know someone who is, then check out these great ideas for incorporating the look of candy canes into your wedding décor!

Candy Cane Wedding Décor Idea #1: Table Cloth

Look for red and white striped table clothes to add a hint of elegant candy cane to your wedding reception. Do not use a red and white table clothe where the stripes are the same size, this only looks like a beach cabana.

Instead, opt for a white table cloth with a little sparked. The red lines should be thin and running at an angle. There are tons of candy cane lined fabric available. Check out your local fabric store for the best options.

Lay down a white tablecloth first and then drape the candy fabric on top as an accent.

Candy Cane Wedding Décor Idea #2: Candy Cane Name Cards

Take one nice large hooked candy cane. Cut out cards with pinking sheer and punch a hole in the end with a hole punch.

Now, with a waterproof ink pen write the name of each guests, one on each card. Use a red ribbon to tie each name card to the candy cane.

Place one candy cane in the center of each dinner plate at the winter wedding reception table. Your guest can also keep these as a wedding favor.

Candy Cane Wedding Décor Idea #3: Candles

Candy cane candles are the perfect centerpiece for a winter wedding. You can find red and white candy cane striped pillar candles at the local craft store, like a Michaels Arts and Craft. Thes become in all heights.

Try placing a silver platter in the middle of each table. Load the whole tray up with candy cane striped candles. Light them and enjoy!

Candy Cane Wedding Décor Idea #4: Wine Glasses.

Use red glass paint to add candy cane stripes to each of your wine glasses. You will need a steady hand for this. If you are a little wary of doing this you can buy these as well.

Simply add thin diagonal stripes, and place one thick stripe in the middle of each thin stripe. Use a real candy cane as inspiration.

Once dry you can fill each with water and then add a floating candle!

Candy Cane Wedding Décor Idea #5: Napkin Rings

This is one of the easiest ways to add an elegant candy cane touch to your winter wedding. Simply buy three inch thick candy cane stripes ribbon . Try to find ribbon that has wire built into the edges. Take simple white cloth napkins and tie each ribbon around in a bow to create a napkin ring.
