Mardi Gras beads are easy to use decorations as you can hang them from ceiling fans, mantles, and door ways. Loop the beads around each other like rubber bands and use them as banners to string across the room and line windows and door frames.

Decorating Idea 2 - Balloons are a requirement for any great party. Purple, gold, and green balloons are cheap and easy decorations for Mardi Gras. You can blow up sets of three in purple, gold, and green, tie them together, and tape them the corners of door frames, window frames, and rooms.
