5 Classic Summer Trends for Women

As seasons come and go, so do trends. That cute romper you just bought might not be so cute in just a few months simply because it's not "in" anymore. Instead of throwing away your money in trends that might not last, invest in ones that are tried and true. Here are five classic summer trends you can't go wrong with.

Sundress

Whenever summer rolls around, so do the sundresses. They come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and prints, but one thing is sure: they come. Add a sundress or two in your summer wardrobe. They can be worn to a picnic, to the beach, to the mall, on an outing with friends, or even when it's just hot.

Classic Black Sunglasses

Sunglasses used to be just an accessory. Now, they've become their own category. There are so many types to choose from, and each one is a statement. But even sunglasses come in trends, and those oversized sunglasses may not always be so popular. So pick the classic black sunglasses, that one pair that fits your face perfectly. They can be worn casually or dressy, with jeans, shorts, or that sundress you invested in.

It's like clockwork. When summer (even spring) is almost near, the floral bags grace the store shelves. They come in many different styles: boho, hand bag, shoulder bag, tote bag, etc. They come in many different kinds of flowers and colors. They can also be tacky, so be careful. You might think floral is not your thing, and you may be right. But do some browsing for floral bags. You just might find one that suits your personal style.

Color

Summer is all about color...always. Why? Because color is fun and summer is the season for fun. Pop a color in your wardrobe. It can be that yellow sundress. Or the pink flowers on your flip-flop. The floral bag alone is color. How about sunglasses? Keep those black, but slick on a berry colored lip gloss and you've got color on your face. You can have colors from your accessories too. Fill your summer with color. It never goes out of style.
