It happens every year. Either people plan on not participating in the Halloween festivities and then the excitement hits them at the last minute or people just keep putting off going out to rent or buy a Halloween costume. Either way, people are stuck at the Halloween shops looking at the left over worst costumes of the year.

So what do you do when your procrastination leaves you with only the left-overs when it comes to Halloween costumes? You do it yourself with some of the cleverest and easiest costumes ever. Make your friends think that you have wise creativity. Look around your house and throw something together.

Try these five easy and clever Halloween costumes for a last minute costume party. Most of the items can be found around your house or easily located at a store other than a costume department.

Sugar Daddy

The guys will love this one. Be what you have always wanted to be. Men, wear your normal clothing and packets of sugar (or candy) all over yourself. When people ask, tell them that you are a sugar daddy. Stop by the local coffee shop to stock up on sugar packets.

God's Gift to Women

This is another one for the guys. If you think you are God's gift to women then you might as well dress like it! Stop by a furniture store and pick up a large box. Cut holes the top and sides for your head and arms. Wrap the box with gift wrap paper. Add a name tag that says to: women and from: God. When people ask tell them that you are God's gift to women.

Black Eyed Pea

Grab a solid color tee-shirt (white works best). On the tee shirt, mark or paint a huge P. Use black make-up to add a black circle around your eye. Put on the shirt and you are now a black-eyed pea.

Tickled Pink

This one could work for both men and women. Try putting on pink clothing (as much pink as possible). You can also carry a tickler such as a feather or duster. Be sure to laugh a lot for sound effects!

Melted Snowman

This one is really cute! Be Frosty after the sun comes out! Dress in white (watering yourself down is optional) and carry around a broomstick. Don't forget to carry around two sticks, a broomstick, and a hat.
