5 Easy Vegan Dishes for Healthy Living

There are a lot of vegans in the world today because of the growth of the green movement. We are living in a time where people are working here to do well for themselves and protect their health by eating better. They figure that this is better for the earth and better for all around living. I have been eating vegan for some time and I find it to be very easy. A lot of restaurants want to make it seem as if it is very hard but I find that it is very simple to eat health and vegan without spending a lot of money or time on making food. These are some of the things that I make on a constant basis in order to enjoy life and live as I would if I were not eating vegan.

One of my favorite recipes is for Vegan Milkshakes and they are very simple to make with little effort. You put 2 scoops of soy ice cream and 1 cup of soymilk into a blender. You can put a tablespoon of vanilla extract into a blender and blend for 30 seconds. Serve chilled and enjoy right away.

Another one of my favorites is Vegan Cheesecake all you need is 1 cup of soymilk 2 tablespoons of soy coffee creamer and 1 pound of Tofutti soy cream cheese. You want to whip these together until the texture is smooth. You can add sugar to taste and put the mixture into a pre-made crust and then put it into the refrigerator and you will need to let it stand overnight before serving.

Chickpea Sandwich is one of the easiest recipes to make because all you need is a can of chickpeas and pour them into a bowl with a cup of rice. Mix until they are blended and mash the peas up until it appears as a paste and spread on bread and consume.

Vegan Omelet is simple and requires only 1 container of egg substitute in addition to 1 tomato and one bell pepper. Pour half of the egg substitute into the pan and cut up the vegetables and place into the egg substitute. When done cooking you should cut in half and garnish before serving.

Vegan Bacon requires you use 8 oz of tofu and cut into strips. Coat the tofu with 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast and 1 teaspoon liquid smoke. Coat mixture on tofu and fry with oil You should first put the mixture in then stir in the tofu and when done let cool before serving.
