O Holy Night is probably my all-time favorite Christmas song to sing and I especially love the arrangement in the Sandi Patty version. This Christmas classic has been sung by some of the most talented artists, including Celine Dion, Martina McBride and Mariah Carey. The dramatic background music, including a full orchestra, and the emotional lyrics combined make this an true Christmas classic. Even if you don't have a Sandi Patty type voice, you can sing this song in a lower key and still wow the crowd.

All Is Well by Point of Grace

All Is Well has been remade by various artists including Clay Aiken and Michael W. Smith, but for me there is no better version or arrangement than the one done by Point of Grace. Heather Payne (who is no longer with Point of Grace) did an incredible job with this Christmas favorite. All is Well is a simple, but beautiful song that starts with a simple piano arrangment and slowly builds into the final chorus where you will use your full voice to belt out the final line "All is Well". This is the perfect Christmas solo for a female soloist who isn't afraid to push herself a little.

Hallelujah (Light Has Come) by BarlowGirl is dreamy Christmas ballad where Mary is singing to her child, Jesus. This song would be perfect as a duet or even for a group of female singers, but can also be performed as a solo. The song includes some really dramatic moments that are perfectly balanced by beautiful, contemplative lyrics about the true meaning of Christmas.

Breath of Heaven by Amy Grant

Breath of Heaven by Amy Grant is another wonderful Christmas song from the perspective of Mary, Jesus' mother. This is another Christmas song that has been recorded by various artists, but the original Amy Grant version is still my favorite. This Christmas song works well for most voices, no matter your range. The haunting music and the heartfelt lyrics are a perfect combination for an unforgettable Christmas solo.

A Cradle Prayer by Rebecca St. James was the last track on her Christmas album and it is perhaps one of the most simple yet sincere Christmas songs I've ever heard. While I have never seen a background track available for this song, it would be easy enough to perform this with someone who can accompany you on the guitar or piano.
