5 Foods Made from Leftover Chocolate Easter Bunnies: No Recipes Needed

Ann Siper
Leftover Easter bunnies can get a little overwhelming, especially if you have more than two children. There are so many uses for left over Easter bunnies. Here are a few of my favorites:

Left Over Easter Bunny Uses #1: Melt That Bunny!

You can always use left over chocolate Easter Bunnies d melt them to pour into new candy molds. This is a great way to create a free gift of chocolate for someone you love. A fun candy to make right after Ester would be some chocolate American flags for Memorial Day.

Yu could also make some cute chocolate umbrellas to give as a rainy day gift in April!

Left Over Easter Bunny Uses #2: Chocolate Fudge for Ice Cream

One of my favorite ways to use left over chocolate is to simply melt it in a saucepan. Pour in about 1 to 2 tbsp. Of cream. Melt and stir. This is called ganache. I call this yummy goodness for my vanilla ice cream! Yum.

You can also make this one in the microwave, which is much better for kids.

Left Over Easter Bunny Uses #3: Chocolate Peanut Butter Fondue

Ok, take that Easter Bunny and start chopping him up. Pop him in the old crock-pot and stir until he melts. Now, stir in ½ cup to 1 cup of peanut butter, depending on how much you like the peanut butter.

Stir until all this melts and start dipping the graham crackers and marshmallows in there! Yum!

Left Over Easter Bunny Uses #4: Cookies of Course!

Ok, skip buying the bag of chocolate chips and chop up pieces of the Easter Bunny and drop him in the cookie batter. If you have in Easter Bunnies left over than you an simply press them into the center of cookies already on the sheet and then bake a usual.

Left Over Easter Bunny Uses #5: Easter Bunny Pancakes

Finally, chocolate chip pancakes! This is also a fun one to make with mini Easter bunnies. You can place one in the middle each pancake and cook as normal. This is so good and yummy!

Another fun way to add chocolate to pancakes it to melt them in the microwave gently. Stir the melted chocolate into the batter. Stir to combine and get completely chocolate pancakes! Yummy!

You have to serve these with blue berry syrup. Nothing is better than blueberries and chocolate!

Excellent! I never thought of how versatile leftover bunnies could be. I especially like the first idea (melting them down and creating new candy in molds).
