The next two books, along with being great for young readers, are also perfect for speech therapists working with kids who have speech disorders. The writing styles of both book encourages readers or listeners to pronounce common sounds while having fun reading these cute stories. These two books are great for early readers of any age.
Cows Can't Fly written and illustrated by David Milgrim is a hilarious story about one boy's imagination about flying cows. While no one seems to pay attention to him or the cows in the sky, the little boy sees flying cows everywhere. This short book encourages creativity and the fully illustrated pages keep the readers' attention. Your kids will beg you to read this over and over.

Whether your kids are learning about a farm unit or they really want to learn more about animals that live on a farm, these are some great books to read. Your child will gain a sense of farm life, the sounds that animals make, and the types of jobs that people do on farms.
