#5 Disneyland Recycling
Disneyland offers many recycling bins around the park that you can put your plastic bottles or cans in. However, a lot of guests forget to put their recyclables in the correct bin and end up throwing them away. Did you know that after you throw away your plastic bottle in the trash can at Disneyland, a cast member is going to end up sorting all the plastic bottles so it will be recycled? Disneyland cares very much about recycling and will sort all the trash to get all the plastic bottles together to be recycled. So next time you are at Disneyland and have a plastic bottle, you may want to just walk that extra few feet to the recycling bin so a cast member does not have to do it later.
#4 The Change in the Wishing Well, and Snow White's Ride
It is a very well known tradition that every time you pass by Snow White's wishing well next to the castle, you put in a coin into the well to make a wish. This is the same for Snow White's ride line when you pass the evil witches part of the castle. Many people put coins into both locations never knowing where the coins go afterwards. Every week or so Disneyland cast memebers collect them and give them money to charity organizations.
#3 There is only One Ride at Disneyland
Did you know there is only one Ride at Disneyland? That one Ride is called "Mr. Road's Wild Ride" because of its title. All the other "rides" at Disneyland are called attractions so that is the reason there is only one ride.
#2 Fireworks Tinkerbell is sometimes a male performer
Everyone enjoys the fireworks at Disneyland. The fireworks are one of the main events at Disneyland during evening hours. If you have ever seen the fireworks you will know that Tinkerbell flies over the castle with her wand. What most people don't know is that Tinkerbell is sometimes played by a male performer. Since only a few people do this skilled job, most of the time Tinkerbell is a male performer. However, from the distance when looking at the fireworks you could never tell.
#1 Most Mickey Mouse character's are played by a female performer
This also may surprise you, but most Mickey Mouse characters are played by a female performer. This is because Mickey Mouse is a shorter character, and most male performers are too tall to play this character so most often it goes to a female role. Another interesting thing to know is that you will only see once Mickey Mouse character at a time. You will never see to Mickey Mouse characters at one time in Disneyland, that is because of course there is only one Mickey.
So next time at your at Disneyland, you know some fun trivia to tell your friends.
