5 Funniest Families on Spring TV Shows

AmyBrowne
This spring there are plenty of TV shows with funny families to keep your own family entertained with good clean humor. These are six of the funniest families on the television this spring, I hope you will tune in and share the laughter with your own family.

The television show Rita rocks on Lifetime Mondays at 8:30 EST tells the fictional tale of the Clemens family, and it is one of the funny programs on the TV lineup this spring season. Rita and husband Jay who are the parents of nine year old Shannon and teenage Haley and together this cast deliver the laughter. They show us that family life does not need to be all stuffy, and can be endearing at times. They are one of the funniest families on the spring lineup this season and I encourage you to watch it.

This spring families around the nation can watch their favorite fiery redhead singer deliver one liners as Reba. This one is on nightly on lifetime at 8:00 EST in the spring television lineup. In this television show watch as Reba and her on line children Cheyenne, Kira, and Jake, Reba's ex Brock and his air headed second wife Barbara Jean combine to deliver the laughter in bucket loads. The funny scenes in this series, are plentiful which is now in reruns, is a favorite among the sitcom TV shows of all time. Reba pokes fun at herself as a single mom and is still nice to her ex, which not many of us who are divorced can say.

This spring families can laugh with Everyone loves Raymond on the award winning TV show airing on Mondays at 5p EST on NBC. In this family, Ray and Debra Barone have three children daughter Ally and the twins Michael and Geoffrey. Ray's parents Marie and Frank live across the street with Ray's brother, and they complete the funny ensemble of this wild cast of characters. As a parent, I feel confident this is a wholesome television show about family dynamics, and it shows us that no matter how old we get moms will play favorites. Ray's mom Marie shows her favoritism to Ray over his brother Robert, and Marie is always trying to sabotage Debra's relationship with others. .

The Cosby show that is shown on TV land 9 and 10 EST weekly has one of the funniest families on television. This funny family consists of the parents Cliff and Claire Huxtable and their five children, Sondra, Denise, Theo, Vanessa and Rudy along with assorted characters. This spring you can laugh along with this funny family, in their antics that have entertained millions of Americans since the show first aired back in 1984. Cliff Huxtable is played by Bill Cosby but he is not the only funny one on the show, and little Rudy is a hoot to watch her self in her younger days.

The stars of the Simpson's TV show include the parents Homer and Marge along with their three children; Bart, Lisa and baby Maggie. Although animated this funny television family brings in the laughter year after year. This will be the 19th year it has been on the spring lineup, which says a lot about the funny factor here. Families around the nation can watch the antics of level headed Marge as she steers her family in the right direction with so much love and patience it is unreal. If Homer were my husband, well he would have went to the curb long ago, because he is a big kid himself and not much of a life time partner. Lisa is a cut up on the show, and Baby Maggie is a doll but Bart while seldom loveable is always into mischief.

This spring as you peruse TV shows, with funny families on television, I do hope you consider some of the ones mentioned in here. All of them are wholesome that you can allow you children to watch with confidence that they will see no violence.
