Amanda M. Rose
Walt Disney World is a prime place to buy souvenirs, and while some feel that you will only find over-priced items, others find that you are able to buy exclusive souvenirs that can only be found throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts. One of my favorite souvenirs from Walt Disney World is the Fill-A-Cup, Fill-A-Treasure Chest, Fill-a-Box items that they have throughout Downtown Disney. This is a list of my favorites!

Mr. Potato Head Fill-up - Once Upon a Toy, in Downtown Disney offers a great souvenir for people of all ages to take home with them. Mr. Potato! Now, this is not just Mr. Potato Head, this is Mr. Potato Head PLUS a ton of different "exclusive to Walt Disney World" pieces for him to wear, even gives souvenirs for your Mr. Potato Head. The store allows guests to fill boxes up with Mr. Potato Head and whatever else you can fit into the box. People have so many different methods for stocking up on the different pieces and getting as much into that little box as possible for this timeless souvenir. Some tips include, buying a Mr. Potato Head back home and just filling the box with pieces, or packing a Mr. Potato Head but filling up the insides of his body with pieces as well. Great and inexpensive souvenir at $19.95

My Little Pony Fill-up - Once Upon a Toy in Downtown Disney also offers a great souvenir for little girls to take home with them - My Little Pony and exclusive Walt Disney World pieces for the Pony to wear. Like Mr. Potato Head, little girls are free to fill up a souvenir box with as much as they can, which is a great deal, as many of the pieces are so small or is clothing for the Pony's. You are able to get My Little Pony's in the box as well, or you can just stock up on exlusive souvenir accessories. Another great and inexpensive souvenir at $18.95

Fill Your Own Lego Cup - LEGO: Imagination Center, in Downtown Disney offers a great idea for boys (and girls) of all ages. Like Once Upon a Toy, the LEGO Store offers guests to fill their own cup with LEGO pieces that they can get in bins, or to make 3 of their own LEGO Men. The LEGO Store offers two different sized cups for guests to fill, the smaller cup is priced at $10.00 and the larger cup is priced at $17. You are also able to fill an entire tub for $100. The little LEGO men are 3/$9.99. The Lego Store also has some amazing LEGO creations built around it, so if you have a little one that is obsessed, this is a place that you must stop!

Fill your own Pirate Treasure Chest - World of Disney Store in Downtown Disney and Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom both offer a treasure chest that you are able to fill with Pirate souvenir goodies. The selection includes spider rings, eye balls, bugs, tattoos, etc. The "Fill-Your-Own Pirate Treasure Chest" is a great souvenir for everyone that has boys (or again, girls) that love acting like a pirate or love watching Pirates of the Caribbean. The fill your own treasure chest is priced at $15.95, and is even a great idea if you have a Pirate-themed party coming up that you need to stock up on gifts for goodies bags.

Fill your own Jewellery Box - World of Disney Store in Downtown Disney and the Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, both offer a great little jewellery box for a perfect souvenir your little girl. Your daughter will be able to fill the box with rings, bracelets, necklaces, etc., which is an excellent idea for little girls that love dressing up or playing house. The fill your own jewellery box is priced at $15.95.

My son has always wanted to try the "Fill your own Pirate Treasure Chest" at the Magic Kingdom. He always decides on one of the toy guns instead.
