5 Horrible Features of the Samsung Character Smartphone
The Lacking Features of the Samsung Character Android Phone
The Samsung Character Android smartphone is one of Samsung's most recent cell phones, but while it might be a modern-day smartphone, it's lacking lots of features and overall is a pretty underwhelming smartphone.
Battery Life
Battery life is usually the "Achilles Heel "of most smartphones and no matter how great your "do-it-all" phone is, if it has horrible battery life, the fun won't last for long. While it's not too uncommon to see smartphones that boast 10+ hours of battery life, the Samsung Character can only claim half of that with an advertised 5 hours of talking time '" and likely less when using processor intensive apps.
Display
Much like battery life, the display of a smartphone can be a feature that'll either make or break a cell phone '" and the display of the Samsung Character Android phone is definitely broken. Unlike many large 4+ inch smartphones on the market, the Samsung Character is below the standard 3.5 inches and comes in at a subpar 2.8 inch LCD display with a paltry 240 x 320 pixels resolution.
Camera
Smartphone cameras are quickly replacing digital cameras as most consumers' default go-to camera, and with advance cameras boasting 8, 10, and even 12 megapixel cameras, the laughable 1 megapixel camera of the Samsung Character just won't do. A 1 megapixel camera is considered toy-like by today's standards and isn't worth using.
Storage
With all of the other lacking features of the Samsung Character, you'd think that there were some type of silver lining, but unfortunately, there might not be one. Not only does the Samsung Character have poor battery life, lacking battery life, and has a less than ideal display, it also only comes equipped with 100 MB of internal memory and can only be expanded to 16 GB of storage space '" when the norm is a default 8GB of storage space (80 times what the Samsung Character offers) and can expand up to 40 GBs.
Hardware
The Samsung Character isn't looking too great under the hood either with a questionable processor, lacking RAM, a low resolution display, poor camera, and hardly any storage space at all. With the lacking hardware of the Samsung Character, the only "upside" to this smartphone is its price '" which comes in at a low price of $39.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.
