5 Hot Picks From Jason Wu for Target Spring 2012 Collection

When Target announced last November that they will feature a limited-edition spring 2012 collection from designer Jason Wu, I squealed with glee. Both Target and Wu made us wait until January to get a glimpse at the 53-piece collection that will hit Target stores on February 5, 2012. I must say that I like what I see. However, with any collection there are a few pieces that stand out as hot ticket items. Here are my top five picks from the Jason Wu Spring 2012 Collection for Target.

Jason Wu Spring 2012 Limited-Edition Collection

This latest designer limited-edition collection for Target takes on the late-1950s to mid-1960s trend seen on the spring runways. This isn't just any retro collection, though. Jason Wu took on an American in Paris influence for Target shoppers with a unique muse, a black cat named Milu. The limited-edition collection of apparel, accessories and handbags run from February 5, 2012 through March 6, 2012 with each item costing under $60.00.

• Black Trench Coat with White Trim, $54.99: features soft military details that flare out from the waist. The coat will also be available in navy. This is a fun deviation from the typical spring trench with the white contrasting trim.
