Here's the 5 Hottest Holiday Music CDs of 2010
1. The Gift by Susan Boyle- With a mix of new and old, Susan's beautiful voice will definitely put you in the mood for the holidays without making your ears bleed.
2. Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album- The cast of Glee is bringing Christmas to you in a whole new way with brand new holiday songs that will really pump you up and put a spring in your step. Definitely not the same-old Christmas songs you're used to, and the old classics are redone in the unique way only Glee cast can do.
3. O Holy Night (CD/DVD) -Jackie Evancho, the 10-year-old soprano prodigy whose performances on "America's Got Talent" won the hearts of millions and brought her into the national spotlight, has signed with SYCO/Columbia Records, and sings like a seasoned operatic master.
4. Noel -by Josh Groban, his flawless lyrical baritone will put you in the holiday mood the second the CD starts. With old favorites done the Groban way, and new takes on classics will have you misty eyed and giving everything you own to the homeless. That's just how he rolls.
5. A Christmas Cornucopia by Annie Lennox. A Christmas Cornucopia is no sweetly packaged selection box. As befits its title, it offers an abundance of songs - drawn from British, French and German traditions - and a host of ideas. This CD is absolutely beautiful and not your regular Christmas album. Annie's take on the holidays is a treat for anyone looking for something different.

Post a CommentNevermind.... I was wondering why they were holiday songs, when I thought I read the title without the word "holiday" in it. lol I couldn't figure out why holiday albums would be higher on the list than regular albums. lol
This surprises me. I probably could have thought of a dozen others, that I would have thought would have been higher up on the list. Thanks for sharing.
Loved!! :-) Merry Christmas!!
Great ideas Candice! Thanks for sharing!:)
I love this list, and O' Holy Night simply rocks!
Wonderful choices my friend. And to you and yours, and your readers too, I wish you a very Merry Christmas. :-) ^i^ (that's supposed to be an angel! LOL)
There are at least some different CD's out this year. It makes a pleasant change from the same old songs re-jigged by pop or country artists, that get played once and often put aside for eternity.
These all sound great! Good gift ideas!
I am a huge Annie Lennox fan, this is a great list.
I'd like to hear Boyle, Evancho, and Annie Lennoxl. I already have Groban's CD
