Miniature golf is more interesting because of the decorations, but golfers don't want to play miniature golf. There are a few interesting golf courses which would make playing golf interesting.
Prison Golf Course
There is a golf course located inside Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola, LA. People cannot enter just to play golf. They must apply to play golf 48 hours ahead of playing so they can be screened. The warden can still deny them access if the prison needs to use the land for any reason. This is one of those times that people can say, "Only in Louisiana."
Naked Golf
Some golfers are people most others think are handsome or pretty. However, there are some that don't fit that description. If you don't mind seeing anybody naked, then you may went to head to the west coast of France. A golf course where people are allowed to play the sport while they are naked is located there. Thankfully, there are only six playing holes. Make your own joke about extra holes here.
Two Country Golf
Everybody knows that golf was created in Scotland. Two Country golf isn't a strange combination of games that puts new rules with the traditional rules of golf. There is a golf course that is located in Finland and Sweden. It follows the Torino River. Nine of the holes are in Sweden and nine of the holes are in Finland.
Dangerous Golf
A golf course exists in the demilitarized zone that separates North Korea and South Korea. It is only one hole, but all players must be armed. The caddy is a trained counter-sniper.
Airport Golf
There is a golf course that is completely within an airport. Eighteen holes lie between two runways. This golf course is located at Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok, Thailand. At least the golf course isn't completely within an airplane. Of course, an airplane would probably only fit one hole of golf and the ball would have to go straight down the middle aisle.
