Parenting Encouragement. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a handbook on parenting? Well, there could be with a parenting encouragement app for the iPhone! This app would allow mothers to key in their children's ages ahead of time. Next blowout foot-stomping tantrum in Target, Mom can just take a deep breath and take out her iPhone. Scroll to the section on tantrums, read tips for handling them from experts and other parents, plus read funny anecdotes of other parents who have dealt with similar experiences.
Best Price Finder. Most moms know what it takes to financially support a family. From the best price on ground turkey to the best price on diaper wipes, wouldn't it be nice if there was an app to tell you? This app would be in tune with your gps location and stores within several miles. Key in a barcode or search for an item and this app would tell you the most updated price for that item. This will definitely help when composing grocery budgets and meal plans.
Meal Plan Composer. Speaking of meal plans, wouldn't it be neat if you could input a list of absolutely everything in your pantry, click a button, and a meal plan for a week or month could be completed for you? To make this program even greater, it could tell you what meals you are only short a few ingredients of. Plus, this app would also allow you to save your families favorite recipes, meals, or cuisine types.
Teacher Connect. With a teacher connect application, the days of report cards "being lost in the mail" would be over. A teacher connect app would allow teachers to instantly connect to parents using the program. Grades, progress reports, behavior records, field trip permission slips and more could become completely instant and paperless.
Just Breathe. There are times we mothers forget to do even the simplest thing -- breathe! The simplest iPhone app for any mother would be a blank screen that would randomly pop up and remind her to take a deep breath, something even non-parents get so busy they forget to do!

Post a CommentI'll add a 6th app to your list: Intuition. It's created to be mothers' personal assistant and in my case, shock absorber. It helps me manage my tasks & appointments so I have more time for my kids. I can even delegate some errands to my husband via email, Facebook and Twitter. And the best part is that not only is it super cute, it's also free! Check it out on http://www.iconapps.com/product.htm
