5 Men Confess Why They Cheated

Infidelity, adultery and cheating are the root to all breakups. It's a devastating experience that can make you or break you. 2009 is a time where open relationships are cool. I always thought this wasn't a way of living but rather a comfort pad in case your lover cheats. When the cheating is uncovered you then comfort yourself with saying " he can do him and I can do me". I wanted to know why men cheat. I interviewed 5 men who openly cheat and not only do their lovers know about but everyone else knows.

Calvin - musician

I cheat because I can. My girl is cool with whatever I do. She gives me my space and allows me to do me. That's why I like her so much she's not a pest. She don't give me a bunch of rules to follow and ultimatums. My girl told me what I do outside the house is my business just don't bring nothing home. I do exactly what she wants. I do my thing outside and when I'm at home I'm with her. My life is great I have the best of both worlds. I wouldn't give her up for a girl who wants to rule my life.

Southern Reporter - Will you marry your girlfriend and why?

Calvin - Hell No. I need woman that can handle me and not afraid to. A girl who stands for nothing falls for anything. I don't want to marry a girl I can do anything to. I'll mess around with a girl like that and do anything I can't do with my wife to her.

Ky - Welder

I have 6 sisters and I know women are sneaky. I'm not going to let no woman play me like a fool. I meet more married women than I do single women. Faithfulness was something of the past. These days, women have bills, pills, revenge and points to prove. I'm here for them all. I will have my fun until I can't have an erection anymore.

Ky - No. Most girls I meet wear weave, fake nails and stay in the club. My wife will be natural. Not fake hair, fake nails and she will attend church not the club.

Wayne - rap artist

I tried being faithful and my wife had sex will all my friends. I loved her so much that I could never fall in love again. Sex is all it could be. It scares me when a young lady says she love me. I never want to be hurt again. I don't call it cheating it's just a way of life for me.

Wayne - No. I don't trust women period.

I watched my mother cheat on my father and I watched my father cheat on my mother. I grew up not trusting love from the gate. Love and relationships are simply jokes to me. I live with my girl and every time she say she love me I have to keep myself from laughing in her face.

Southern Reporter - Will you marry your girlfriend and why?

Jonell - No. I never want to get married. Relationships are good as long as they continue to feel good. Love is too complicated and most times it's too much to handle. When I'm old and I want a home cooked meal is when I'll get married.

Lamar - producer

I cheat because it feels good. It's better to me when I'm sneaking. My girl love and trust me. I give her money and she's happy. She always brags that as long as I do for her she's ok with whatever I do. I give her money and I basically do what I want.

Lamar - No. I want a girl who's more worried about me than money.
