1. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory starred Johnny Depp. This movie paid homage to the original. However, it followed the book more than the 1971 version. In this version, Verruca was seized by squirrels and we learned that Willy Wonka's dad was a dentist. In addition, Johnny Depp played the main character darker than Gene Wilder.
2. That 70s Show paid homage to it in a dream sequence. The main characters in That's 70's Show dreamed that they were different people from the movie. One scene involved the reenactment of Violet turning into a blueberry after she chewed a piece of gum.
3. Chocolat paid homage to this movie because it dealt with the fantasy and power of chocolate. Juliet Binoche travels to a small town in France and reawakens it by selling chocolate in her chocolate shop. In this movie, chocolate stirs the passions of the people in the town. In Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Chocolate changed Charlie's and his family's life.
4.The Suite Life On Deck attended a chocolate class. Cody and Bailey attend a chocolate class for couples. They had broke up; however, Cody had gotten the tickets before they broke up in Paris. The couples have to make chocolate hearts for each other. In addition, they have to eat chocolate kisses and be romantic with chocolate. This show paid homage to the movie because of all the chocolate. Moreover, the host of the chocolate class wore a color outfit with a hat and acted crazy and mad. He also showed a passion for chocolate. In short, the host of the class had many characteristics of Willy Wonka.
5. Friends referred to a Golden Ticket. This situation comedy paid homage to the film because the four main characters are wondering in an episode when they would find their Golden Ticket. The four friends are waiting and hoping for their lives to change.
Movies and chocolate go together nicely. In addition, there have been many movies about chocolate. My favorite movie about chocolate is Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. It also seems that there are movies and television shows that have paid homage to this fantasy movie. This seems to show that this yummy movie is a classic. Source:www.wikipedia.org
