Movies are a wonderful part of our culture. This is because they are a shared experience. They are also a way for people to escape reality for a bit. Movies often can and do inspire people to paint, cook a bunch of recipes in a year, skydive, and travel. I love to travel and go to the movies. In fact, going to the movies makes me feel like I am traveling to certain places such as Italy and Napa Valley. There are movies that make people want to travel. Therefore, here are five movies that will make people turn into jet-setters.

Letters to Juliet:This romantic movie takes place in New York and Italy. It is about finding a lost love and finding true love. It also shows what love is all about. Letters to Juliet also shows that writing love letters is still fashionable. This movie is one of the best romantic movie in a long time. This movie inspired me to plan a trip to Italy soon for the sight seeing, food and wine. Letters to Juliet is a love letter to Italy.

Julie and Julia:This delicious movie pays tribute to Julia Child. It also makes moviegoers appreciate French food. It also drives people to cook French cuisine. Julie and Julia inspired me to make artichokes with a butter and garlic sauce. I also created a butter and lemon sauce for the artichokes as well. This movie will inspire people to eat French cuisine and to travel to France. I didn't wish to go to France; however, since watching Julie and Julia, I want to go to France to shop, go to museums, and eat frog legs, escargots, and crepes.

Crocodile Dundee: This is a classic and funny fish out of water story. A reporter travels to Australia to write a story about a man who gets attacked by a crocodile and lives to talk about it. Then, he comes back to New York and has some interesting experiences. This movie is an international love story. Crocodile Dundee inspires movie lovers to travel to Australia to put a couple of shrimps on the barbecue. I have wanted to travel to Australia since I saw this movie.

Notting Hill:Hugh Grant is the quintessential Englishman in this film. Notting Hill is an advertisement to England. In addition, this movie shows us that true love is possible. It also shows the nice guys finish first. I love books; therefore, I loved that Hugh Grant played the owner of a travel book shop. This movie inspired me to travel to England to see the real Notting Hill, eat fish and chips, and drink tea.

Leap Year:This movie is about a woman who travels to Ireland to propose to her boyfriend. The scenery is a vibrant green. Green symbolizes Ireland. I didn't realize that it rained that much in Ireland. However, I still want to travel to Ireland.
