Are you planning a road trip? If so, are you planning to take your small infant with you? If the answer is yes, you must make sure that you are equipped with all of the "fun toys" your infant will love. Not only will toys entertain your infant while you drive, there are sure to expand your infants mind! Follow this quick checklist to make sure you have all of the most essential toys for the trip.

Rattles: Rattle, Rattle is the name of the game! Bring rattles that your infant is sure to love. The Ducky rattles and light up rattles make great toys for infants. If your infant cant hold rattles yet, get a smaller one. Rattles now come in all sizes in order to adapt to different infants. When picking a rattle, go for the very colorful ones. Not only will the rattle get all of your infant's attention, it will also help them learn to define colors in the near future.

Musical Toys: There are a wide range of musical toys on the market that infants just go crazy for. Musical toys such as pianos, drums and singing ABC boards are just what infant's love. Make sure that you get musical toys that are fun to play with. If you're not having fun playing with the toy, know that your infant won't! There are now many character toys that sing and often dance at the same time, it's a site to see for infants.

Blocks: Playing blocks make great toys for infants as they learn to control their motor skills. Place the blocks in the infants hand and see what they do with it. More or likely your infant will place the blocks in their mouth, therefore; make sure the blocks are rather large to prevent your infant from swallowing them. Great bright colored blocks as infants are more drawn in by them.

Light Up Toys: Light up toys probably have to be the most popular out of all infants toys. Light up toys usually display a collage of light shows as the infant touches the toys. Bright colors such as reds, oranges, light greens and yellows really draw the infant into the toy to the fullest. Try playing with the toy while your infant watches, you're sure to see a smile from ear to ear appear across their face.

Teethers: While teethers are usually used for babies during their teething phase, they also make great toys for infants. Infants often bite on the teether for hours at a time and remain quiet because they are active. Try to stay away from the gel teethers as opposed to the plastic ones; sometimes the gel teethers have a risk of busting open if your infant has started to grow teeth already.
