5 Note Worthy Bed & Breakfasts in Las Vegas
Bed and Breakfasts You Don't Want to Miss in and Around Las Vegas
No short term accommodations (aka Bed and Breakfasts) are any longer legal in Las Vegas within the 8000 Square Miles of Clark County. This zoning ordinance was created essentially to safeguard the Gaming Industry and constrains Las Vegas visitors to stay at a Casino/Hotel. However, there are no Laws as of yet against Friends staying with "Friends". With this side note stated, allow me to introduce you to your new potential "Friends" accommodations. For prices please call the numbers provided since they could not openly list them for above named reasons.
Feather Danse Bed & Breakfast, a classy place with charm and wonderful amenities is located in a pleasant "in Town" Location, close to various Las Vegas Attractions.
Some of their Amenities include a wonderful continental Breakfast, Pool/Spa, Suites and a very friendly staff who wants to make your stay as comfortable as possible. English, Spanish and depending on who is on Staff a few other languages are spoken by the helpful Staff Members.
Making your payments couldn't be made any easier for you either. The good folks at the Feather Danse accept Visa, MC, Cash and Discover Card. In order to make arrangements for a visit you need to join their Network of Friends. I would consider this place easily on top of the list. For further information feel free to contact them at:

The next one up is a bit different. Instead of focusing on the casual Traveler this Bed & Breakfast is targeted towards the business person and convention attendee. Las Vegas is well known for its large variety of constant conventions from the technological to adult industry. Most of these conventions are housed at the Sands Convention Center right off the Strip, which makes the Bed & Office the perfect choice.
The Bed & Office is located only a 5-7 minute drive time via Dessert Inn from the Convention Center. I have been told that you can easily rent a Car for around $20.00 a day if you flew in and save the now ever increasing cab cost. Parking is free on their grounds as well. This business styled Bed & Breakfast is geared towards luxury and affordability with the busy executive in mind. Their spacious living & dining room areas are perfect for entertaining, relaxed meetings or just to kick back for a few moments of relaxation. Each Room is equipped with free wi-fi computer access another definite perk for the business minded traveler. A fully equipped kitchen makes those feelings of "home" fully rounded. A nice complete and generous continental breakfast is included. For those of you who just can't stand to leave your pet at home, this place is ideal. The Bed & Office is very pet friendly.
For more information make sure to give them a call or send them a quick email. Hours by appointment only, sorry no drop-ins.

For our next choice we have to step a little way outside of Las Vegas and go to near by historical Boulder City. This Bed and Breakfast is billed by the City of Boulder as a romantic get-a-way spot and I would have to agree. If you are looking at being near the hustle of Las Vegas, but would like to spend your more cozy moments in a relaxed atmosphere I urge you to take a look at the Boulder City Bed & Breakfast.
Milo's Inn at Boulder is billed accurately as a Bed and Breakfast and has none of the Clark County counterparts "hidden" issues. If you enjoy small town charm and a very neighborly class of people you need to give this lovely place a try. This in is not one of the biggest and is set as four Tuscan Styled Rooms, but it is in turn comfortable, classy and romantic. This Bed & Breakfast offers overstuffed Pillows, oversized Queen Beds, Fire place, double whirlpool, wine cabinet for two and more. This is hands down the choice for love birds who don't mind spending a little time in travel and money.
3 Different Package Deals are available as well. Don't forget to take a look at Milo's Wine Cellar for those of you who enjoy a fine Wine and with many different Beers there is a brew for anyone. Fine Dining is available as well and if you get the taste of Las Vegas Nightlife it is only 25 Miles away from the Strip.
Take advantage of the Spa & Wellness Center as well and treat your-self to a Spa Treatment starting at $75.00 an hour.
The Rates are either $169.00 or $199.00 a night depending on which one of the 4 Guestrooms you chose to stay in.

Let's go back to Las Vegas and insert a French Flair to the Bed & Breakfast hunt.
Michele's French Country Cottage is another of those who sadly have to stay a bit obscure. However her love for the French Cuisine and making her Guests comfortable is more then well known to those who have had the chance to stay with her. Fairly central (only 5 Miles from both the Strip and the Airport), she is a hidden jewel that makes staying at the Country Cottage very enjoyable.
Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are honored as payment options. For reservations and further detailed information please contact:

Looking for a cooler location during the hot summer month in Las Vegas? Then I suggest you head for Mount Charleston where the temperatures are usually cooler. The View and hiking Trails are more then note worthy and that brings me to our last but by no means last choice for Bed & Breakfast in and around Las Vegas.
Almost Heaven is the Bed & Breakfast at Mt. Charleston. Nestled in the Mountains over Las Vegas this is the choice for the adventure seekers who just want to get away from the busy Las Vegas Strip. However, this location is not cheap by any means, starting at $199.00 per night it can range up to $499.00 a night. This makes Almost Heaven the choice of those who don't mind to pay high prices for scenery, relaxation and location.
Almost Heaven is located near Lee Canyon Ski Resort, Mt. Charleston Golf Resort and still fairly close to the Las Vegas Strip. Hiking Trails, Bike Trails, Parks, Antique Malls, Concert and clubs... this location keeps you just far enough to not have to hear it, but close enough to enjoy it! A bit of everything for just about everyone.
Don't forget the more risqué sport of mountain climbing as well as the genteel horseback riding is available as well.
Amenities: Television in room, Fireplace in room, Piano, Antiques, Down comforters, Whirlpool/spa in-room, Canopy beds, Sitting room/library, Room service, Full breakfast, Patio, Balcony, Room with scenic view, Private porch, No smoking, Designated smoking, Meeting rooms/facilities, Suites available, Hot tub/Jacuzzi, In-room or on-deck coffee/tea service, Evening dessert/cordials/hors d'oeuvres and Discounts/specials available (copied from their Website)
Payments accepted are MasterCard, Discover as well as American Express and according to their Website there is a 10% Discount if you reserve a room online. So don't miss out on that.

First FeatherDanse is not a Bed & Breakfast and does not have a fee schedule nor do they accept credit cards.
There is no Staff nor do any one on premiss speak multiple languages other than English, some Japanese and only a working knowledge of ASL.
FeatherDanse is truely a "friends" network in that they permit people to stay with them. These "friends" are people who do not want to stay in Casinos or Hotels - they are specifically seeing a warm home and friendly family atmosphere. As for fees, they do not have a fee schedule - they will accept tips and that generosity helps them keep their doors open to all "friends."
You must become a member through their site before you can stay with them.
You can call them anytime to ask all about the area and FeatherDanse.
